This class is intended for intermediate/advanced improvisers (18 & older) with some prior improv experience.

Let’s work to develop your character building muscles. Together we will explore different devices to add to your tool box  to create characters that you can sustain through a scene or even a whole show. 

TAURI LAWS-PHILLIPS, CEO of Austin100.  She is a former partner at Andreessen Horowitz and former improv theater owner.Tauri is an expert in the startup space having worked with over 200 founders across tech and consumer goods. With over 15 years of improv experience, Tauri has performed in shows and festivals all over the country, headlining with Damn Gina in Baltimore and New Orleans. In 2017 she developed an improv based diversity and belonging training. To date she has taught nearly 300 workshops in 3 countries. Her notable shows are SuperBlack, Bigfoot the Musical and The Meninist.
